Day 1: Transfer from Vienna/Bratislava. Visit 3 different castles.
We’ll visit first of three beautiful castles, the Čachtice castle, once residence of the “bloody countess Elizabeth Bátory”, next we’ll drive about 30 minute to the castle of Beckov, stands on a steep 50 m tall rock with wonderful legend.
Finally we’ll stop at the Trenčiansky hrad castle, the royal castle from the 11th century with the romantic legend about Omar and Fatima.
Day 2: Tematin castle and famous Pieštany spa
After breakfast we’ll start to hike to the Tematín castle, guarded the western borders of the Kingdom of Hungary, romantic ruins stand on the top of the side ridge of the Považský Inovec mountains.
Next, we’ll drive to the worldwide famous Piešťany spa and Great Moravian settlement Ducove
Finally we’ll visit the Čertova pec cave, known to have yielded material evidence of repeated human presence and habitation during the Stone Age.
Day 3: Ruins of castle Dobra Voda and Trnava medieval town
In the morning we’ll visit ruins of Dobrá Voda castle, a Gothic sentry castle from the 13th century hidden in shadow of trees.
After the tour, you’ll head back towards Bratislava, or Vienna.
