Departure in the morning. You’ll head to the north-east of Slovakia. On the way you’ll see some castles, mountains, and beautiful countryside.

Stop At: Pieniny National Park
Wooden raft ride on the river Dunajec – rafting with breathtaking views in Pieniny National Park. This river is not only for advanced rafters but also for beginners. The canyon is the biggest and most untouched in central Europe. On your way through the smallest national park in Slovakia, you will see a panoramic view of the mountain peaks “Three coins”.
You’ll also visit a truly old-style Slovak village, with traditional wooden houses.

Stop At: High Tatras National Park
You should visit also Belianske Tatry and Bachledova valley with popular treetop walk. There you can see the unique nature of Eastern Tatras.

Stop At: Low Tatras National Park
You’ll visit the the Low Tatras. At 1,102 square km, this is the biggest national park in Slovakia. It provides the most stunning views of untouched forests and valleys. Fascinating caves full of stalactite formations are open to the public. You’ll visit one of these, and you’ll also take a cable car to the Chopok mountain. Then you should go on a hike and take in the breathtaking views.

Stop At: Orava Castle
In the morning you’ll drive about an hour to one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia: Oravský hrad, where one of the first ever vampire movies was filmed – Nosferatu (1922). After another hour or so, you’ll arrive in the Malá Fatra national park.
Stop At: Mala Fatra Mountains
Here you’ll find a series of wonderful little gorges with ladders and waterfalls. Then you should stop off in a traditional Slovak restaurant to enjoy some of our national delights!
After lunch, you’ll start heading back towards Bratislava/Vienna, passing two large castles in western Slovakia: Trenčin and Beckov.
