The peaks Ďumbier (2043 m asl.) and Chopok (2024 m. asl.)
These two peaks belong to the most popular in Low Tatras.
The hike starts in Trangoška (1100 m). After another hour, we will reach the peak Ďumbier, the highest peak of Low Tatras.
Here starts the most beautiful part of our hike – the ridge of Low Tatras; and on the right side, we will see the views on West Tatras and mountains High Tatras. Then, we will walk along the mountain pathway paved by big stones up to the peak Chopok. After a short break and deserved short rest, we will move to another saddle called Príslop followed by the traverse up to Kosodrevina (1500 m) and then a short descent to our cars.
